- Kidneys
Function: The kidneys are responsible for filtering waste products and excess water from the blood, forming urine that is eventually eliminated from the body. They also help regulate electrolyte balance and blood pressure.

- Circulatory System
Function: This system includes the heart and blood vessels. It transports oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and other vital substances throughout the body. It also helps remove waste products, such as carbon dioxide, from cells.
- Respiratory System
Function: Comprising the lungs and airways, this system facilitates the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the air and the blood. It provides the body with oxygen for energy production and eliminates waste carbon dioxide.

Function: Epithelial tissue serves as a protective barrier, preventing the loss of fluids and invasion by pathogens. It also participates in absorption, secretion, and sensation. Different types of epithelial tissue can be found in the skin, lining of the digestive tract, and lining of blood vessels.
- Connective Tissue
Structure: Connective tissue consists of cells dispersed in a matrix of protein fibers and ground substance. The matrix can be rigid or fluid, depending on the type of connective tissue.
Function: Connective tissue provides support, protection, and structure to various parts of the body. It includes a wide range of tissues such as bone, cartilage, blood, adipose (fat) tissue, and tendons. Each type has its own specialized function, like storing energy, forming a scaffold, or transporting nutrients.
- Muscle Tissue
Structure: Muscle tissue is composed of cells called muscle fibers that contract and generate force.
Function: Muscle tissue is responsible for movement. There are three types of muscle tissue: skeletal muscle (voluntary movement), smooth muscle (involuntary movement of internal organs), and cardiac muscle (contractions of the heart).
- Nervous Tissue
Structure: Nervous tissue consists of specialized cells called neurons and supporting cells called glial cells.
Function: Nervous tissue transmits electrical signals called nerve impulses, which allow for communication and coordination within the body. It forms the basis of the nervous system, enabling sensory perception, motor control, and cognitive processes.

- Baby Beginnings
When a baby starts to form, it begins as a tiny cell from a mom and a dad. This cell grows into a little baby inside the mom’s tummy.
The baby’s body starts to take shape, and its organs begin to form.
- Getting Bigger
As the baby grows, it gets bigger and bigger inside the mom’s tummy.
The baby’s body parts, like arms, legs, and a head, become more defined.
- Coming Out
When it’s time, the baby comes out of the mom’s tummy. This is when people say the baby is born.
The baby is small and needs lots of care. It learns to eat, move, and do new things.
- Growing Up
Babies grow into kids, and kids grow into adults. This is called growing up.
Kids learn to walk, talk, and do many things by themselves.
- Changes in Teens
When kids become teenagers, their bodies change a lot. They get taller, their voices might change, and they start to look more like adults.
- Becoming Adults
As teenagers get older, they become adults. Adults are taller and stronger.
They can do many things and take care of themselves.
- Growing Older
When adults get even older, their bodies start to slow down. They might get wrinkles and need to rest more.
People get wiser as they get older, and they have lots of stories to tell.
So, from being a tiny baby to growing into a strong adult, our bodies change a lot as we grow and learn new things!
